Ninnotech participated in an international medical and elderly care exhibition held at INTEX Osaka from March 10 to March 12, 2026, where the company showcased its independently developed Ground-based Fall Detector to industry representatives from around the world. The exhibition primarily focused on B2B business exchange and attracted numerous companies from the healthcare, technology, and retail sectors.

Ninnotech’s Ground-based Fall Detector is the world’s first and only ground-based fall detection solution. It is capable of detecting fall incidents in real time within home environments without requiring wearable devices or relying on cameras. This innovative design overcomes the limitations of traditional fall detection systems, which typically depend on wearable devices or image recognition, and provides a new safety monitoring approach for elderly care environments.

Among the many exhibitors, Ninnotech’s Ground-based Fall Detector was selected by the organizers as a “Feature Picks” recommendation. Less than 1% of all exhibitors were chosen for this recognition, making it one of the most notable innovative solutions highlighted at the exhibition.

During the exhibition, the Ground-based Fall Detector attracted hundreds of companies for discussions and exchanges, including well-known Japanese corporations such as NTT, NITORI, and AEON. Their interest reflects the strong attention that the Japanese market places on elderly safety and home care technologies.

Throughout discussions with Japanese companies, the product received highly positive feedback from the market. In particular, its battery life, exterior design, and compact size were widely recognized and appreciated. Many visitors noted that the product provides effective safety monitoring without interfering with daily life, making it highly practical for both home environments and elderly care settings.

In addition, many industry professionals expressed surprise at the product’s core technology. Ninnotech’s fall detection technology integrates two mature and widely used sensing technologies—infrared human detection and laser distance measurement—combined through innovative algorithms that enable effective identification of human fall states. After learning about the technical principles, many visitors commented that while these sensing technologies themselves are already well-established, their innovative integration and application to achieve fall detection is something rarely seen before and highly impressive.

Several Japanese companies also expressed admiration during discussions, noting that they were impressed by the level of innovation demonstrated by a technology company from Taiwan in developing such an advanced elderly care solution. This not only highlights the innovative strength of Taiwan’s technology industry but also made Ninnotech a focal point of attention and engagement among many companies and industry representatives during the exhibition.

Through this exhibition in Osaka, Ninnotech successfully enhanced its brand visibility in the Japanese market and further validated the market potential of its product in aging societies. Moving forward, Ninnotech will continue to deepen collaboration with international partners and promote the adoption of its ground-based fall detection solution across more residential and care environments, aiming to create a safer and more reassuring living environment for older adults.
